johnlennon696 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Which is the 'best' version of Bluberry hill to have? I have a source-mix version in MP3 which sounds great, also the Tarantura 97 5th source version (which i'm sure has a cut in Immigrant Song). Or are they all much of a muchness? Thinking about getting the Winston version too.. Quote
georgio Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I think they're all the same. I have one with a "stereo" remaster but they don't sound too different from my cassette tape from way back when...good show Quote
EddieShouldHaveListened Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I highly recommend the Winston version. I think it's called The Great Love Affair Quote
tom kid Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Don't touch the Wendy version, its EQ'd to hell. Quote
andyk Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Hi, Quite like the Winston version, although I haven't listened to it for a while the TMOQ alternative source version was also quite good. To be honest version used for the vinyl copy of this I have from the 1970s (i think the Rubber Dubber version) is also not bad. If you check the PM I sent a while back, most of the versions are available for you to check out. Andy Quote
johnlennon696 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Cheers guys, think i'll check the Winston version out... Quote

joe (Liverpool) Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I have an original vinyl album, the vocals are excellent but the bass is hardly audible, also you can hear the audience talking, whoever taped it must have been in the audience with a hand held recorder. When Dazed and Confused starts you can clearly hear a voice saying "What is that?" Quote
The Only Way To Fly Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 This was the first boot I bought & still have it. The interesting thing about it (or maybe not)... is that at the start of Communication Breakdown there's a mis-press in that there's a backwards mask/track of Genesis' After The Gold Rush. Anybody have a similar experience with their version? THANKS! Quote
Giordano Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) can anyone point me to where i can DL this Winston version? Thanks! Edited April 20, 2012 by Giordano Quote
reswati Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 can anyone point me to where i can DL this Winston version? Thanks! I have the "Good Times in L.A."(Beelzebub) version of this concert, however it isn't an original(a friend copied it for me). Anyways, whenever Bron-Y-Aur plays, after about 20-30 seconds, it cuts to a different song. Was this just a bad copy or something, or was this really on the real copy? I thought i remembered hearing that song on his original copy. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but it would great to get an answer as i am considering to get an original copy like my friend. Thanks Quote

Smack your friend with a wet noodle. No sir, you've got a right copy since the Beelz does feature the5th aud source which of course has the cut on BYA. To my knowledge there is a mediocre fan release which mix the 5th source and so BYA it's complete.Lol Quote
