Led Zep Girl Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Jimmy looks fat. Either way, I still love him! Quote
DavidZoso Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 (edited) Great pic. And Jimmy has aged very well to be 68. I remember on the Page Plant 1998 tour- one of the things people said was a highlight in reviews of the shows was Jimmy's pot belly. I think he looks healthy- not fat. Sue Dounim Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Maybe I'm just too used to the Jimmy of '77 thru '80. Quote
Melcórë Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Maybe I'm just too used to the Jimmy of '77 thru '80. You like your Pagey raging on heroin, eh? Yuck. Quote
Sue Dounim Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I said used to it, not happy with it. Though he did kinda have a sadistic chic when he looked like that '77. Quote

That picture was 5 years ago, no? Plus white makes you look heavier Sue (unless it's Page circa '77)! Quote
DavidZoso Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 68? That picture was 5 years ago, no? Plus white makes you look heavier Sue (unless it's Page circa '77)! Yes I know he was 63 at the O2 show- I was just talking in general about how he has aged. Quote
Walter Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 He DOES look better/healthier now than ever, IMO. Quote
mstork Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 He DOES look better/healthier now than ever, IMO. Agreed, and in plenty of pictures from that gig he looks thinner than he has in years, certainly thinner than he was on the Page Plant tours. Bad angle on that shot... Quote
LivingLovingHeartbreaker Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 ^^ I was thinking the same thing, his cheeks look cute clinched together. Quote
jayceeporter Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Somehow, Robert's managed to keep that figure of his! And even though they look a bit greasy and weighed down, all the hair remains Quote
Geezer Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Jimmy looks fat. It's a bit weird considering how emaciated he was back in the 70s... Quote
Black-Dog Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 A bit fat in this age, than to skinny... Quote
Michael Page Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Damn give him a break he is in his late 60's.He still is awesome as F**K. Quote
3hrsoflunacy Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Nice pic, the wide angle one taken from the back of the drumkit is really great. Quote
rocketqueen206 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Jimmy looks fat. He looks sexy. Quote
f2walsh Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Great pic! Hope we get the pro-shot dvd! Quote
Texas Melanie Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I love him at 68 since it didn't look like he would make it this far. Quote
Strider Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) Is it a screen shot from the dvd? No. As it says in the original post and the photo credit, the photo was taken by Mark Bowman. He was at the O2 show but I don't think he was an official cameraman for the DVD. Check out his photo archive posted elsewhere featuring Jimmy and Led Zeppelin.
