chef free
I've been enjoying the '80 tour versions. I like the short, tight arrangement. Frankfurt is "special".

ListenToThis
Mannheim 1980/07/02 is actually quite good, the highlight of the show in my opinion. The ending is rather creative as well. Also rather partial to 1975/05/25.
magerogue
The 1975 WLLs are special, it's just so cool the way they mixed WLL with Black Dog. I think that the Earls Court versions are my favorites because of Jimmy's tone.
Mattmc1973
8/23/71 in Fort Worth, TX. Just a scorching version. The unbalanced recording helps in this case, as the taper was in front of Jimmy's side and the guitar is very prominent in the tape. Blazing playing by Jimmy and Robert in very strong and high voice. Strider
^^^ Good call! I had forgotten about this one when I made my list. If you like Jimmy you need to hear this one.
manymanyman
Is there a video of 20+ minutes WLL surfaces?
nick2632
As far as the song WLL the studio will always be my favorite, but for live it's all about the melody which lacked in TSRTS but HTWWW was great and Southampton 73 is my favorite. Bonzo_fan
June 19, 1972 Seattle is pretty great too, was probably close to a half hour in length (27 minutes with a sizeable cut on the recording we have now). Like the rest of the show, if you can stomach the mediocre/poor recording it's well worth it.

BlyZeppelinaren
Same here! And it's 3h 12m with cuts! I think someone on here estimated it to be around 3 and a half hours without the cuts.... IN '72!!!!
Sue Dounim
I'm gonna stuff the ballot with extra votes for the version from 1970/09/19 (evening). Re-listening now, I forgot just how great the jams and interaction with the audience was.
