BettyPage
On several ocasions i've seen photos of Mr. Page singing, but i've never actually heard him sing, at least not knowing it was him singing. Could anyone point me out songs out of the Lez Zep records where he sings, or maybe you have something else? thank you!
redeyedrichard
There's a song on YouTube somewhere that he sings. The whole thing, by himself. I can't for the life of me remember what it is called. But at least you now know there is something out there. Sorry I can't be of further help, I will have a look around. redeyedrichard
Are you thinking of "She Just Satisfies"? That's the one!!! And here it is: She Just Satisfies Hope you like it. And then there is Jimmy Page at 14 singing!! Check this out: James Page at 14
SteveAJones
That's the one. His first solo single released in 1965. I think it sold six copies (or less).
Stargroves Tangie
Jimmy does backup vocals on WLL on TSRTS but you have to listen closely to hear him.
Stargroves Tangie
That's the one. His first solo single released in 1965. I think it sold six copies (or less). I don't know but everytime I listen to it on headphones I think I'm hearing 2 different people singing- one that does most of the singing & then a second, higher voice that does the "oh yeah" & the background "ahhhs". I guess it's just vocal tracking but when I hear it on Zep records I can tell that it's still Robert.
*eviljane*
I think he sounds a bit like McJagger actually.
LedZepChick
Thanks for posting the link!! I had been wondering the same thing in regards to his vocals..... I think he sounds great!!

TheBulle
Wow this sounds pretty good! He sounds like Jagger!!!
Lady Goodman
Very Cool! Thanks, ReR.
Katuschka
I think he really cannot sing....
Bonham
He is extremely talented.
songbird
He is extremely talented. Of course, but not exactly an AMAZING singer.
Bonham
Of course, but not exactly an AMAZING singer. I know that, but it's better than anything I can sing by far.
Katuschka
He is extremely talented. However, She Just Satisfies is not a very convincing example of his talent.

Bonham
However, She Just Satisfies is not a very convincing example of his talent. I meant he's very talented as a musician, the singing was only a small part of why I was saying he's talented.
Blue_Soul
I think the song is not bad No comparison to Robert's voice but as Jimmy is actually not a singer I think it's absolutely okay for that.
tom kid
Well, after listening to She Just Satisfies I can say I don't think much of the song or Jimmy's voice, he was born to play the guitar not sing haha.
Soccerzubs
Bonzo has a really nice voice too, I really thought it was Plant who sang the first line of The Ocean, but it is Bonzo "We've done four already but now we're steady and then they went: one, two, three, four"
desirezep
Gosh he did sing well.
Honeydripper
The whole band sang on Tangerine at the infamous Earls Court shows of 75.....those are fun to hear......and see Page definitley is not known for his singing talents. He did start getting comfortable with being on the mic in 80 while introducing songs on the European tour. Did it again on the Outrider tour. As for his backups during Zep....they were halfassed and always faint. Besides, the second best singer in Zep BY FAR was John Bonham.
