Patrycja Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I am happy some of my friends were able to attend even if I couldn't And I even got a very cool programme book hot off the presses Well you are a far more magnanimous woman than I am, nine! Good for you. I, on the other hand, am unabashedly jealous. Let me try: good for...all of you who went... :'( Quote

Quite something trying to get on and one of our members who sadly doesn't post anymore was getting a feed via text message of the songs as they were being performed so it was cool to celebrate in that way Quote

It was actually verrry slow for me, so I ended up checking out news reports of it. Still very exciting to get some feedback, even today. How anyone could get drunk enough to get themselves escorted out is beyond the beyond (as someone retold in the 'named &shamed' thread), but nice to hear the experiences, nevertheless. I trust you have the boots? A next to the best thing Quote

I trust you have the boots? A next to the best thing It was extremely slow and a bit frustrating as you sat here anxiously wanting to know what was going on but we managed. I don't understand anyone getting that drunk at a show, especially one of that nature I do have many boots - audio and video Quote
Aquamarine Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 My ticket partner and his friends (we didn't actually attend together) drank an astonishing amount before the show, went to the show with cans of beer and cider in all their coat pockets, and when I got back to the hotel afterwards I was just in time to have a drink with them as they were getting settled into the bar! They must have had an astonishingly high tolerance for booze as they didn't even seem drunk. (This at the show where there was no alcohol and we all sat on our hands. ) Quote
Zepp-4-Life Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 An eclectic response strewn with I was and I wasn't ------------ ENERGY - let it flow and allow us to absorb. Thanks for the feeeeeeedback. The official list is still in progress ........ Quote

Rumpeller Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I was there. On the floor immediately in front of the mixing desk (right hand corner). The sound and vibe from that position was amazing. Quote
