lzzoso
I realize that this Topic has some limitations and maybe somewhat premature, however, is there anyone out there that has already purchased tickets to the Robert Plant and the Band of Joy 2010 Tour? July 2010: 13 Memphis, TN - The Orpheum Theater 15 Little Rock, AR - Robinson Center Music Hall 16 Tulsa, OK - Brady Theater 18 Albuquerque, NM - Sandia Casino Amphitheater 20 Phoenix, AZ - Dodge Theater 21 Tucson, AZ - Anselmo Valencia Amphitheater 23 Dallas, TX Meyerson Symphony Hall 24 Houston, TX - Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion 26 Austin, TX - Stubbs Waller Creek Amphitheater 28 Mobile, AL - The Saenger Theatre 30 Clearwater, FL - Ruth Eckerd Hall 31 Miami, FL - Bayfront Park Amphitheater I just purchased a ticket for the July 23, 2010 Robert Plant concert in Dallas, Texas. I paid $113.19 for one ticket as close to the stage that I could get. Obviously, I cannot wait. Just a little over 2 months til showtime. Has anyone else bought a ticket to any of these cities that Robert has so far scheduled for this tour? It seems that Robert is performing (so far as listed) in 12 American cities in only 8 States. By the way, if anyone out there also happens to be attending the Robert Plant gig in Dallas, Texas, please feel free to contact me by a reply to this topic or any other means available on this Great and Awesome website. Walter
I will be attending the show in Clearwater. I have never been to the Ruth Eckard Hall where he is playing but from what I can gather, it only has about 40 rows in it! So looking forward to seeing Robert again, it has been since Miami '98 on the Page/Plant tour that I last saw him. It will be my 9th Plant show overall. Peace. reids
He needs to add more dates. Absolutely agree, Wolfman (and hopefully soon). Atlanta, Georgia - Chastain Ampitheatre or even the Variety Playhouse (for one). Myrtle Beach, SC --- House of Blues (another venue that would be good) Asheville, NC --- Orange Peel (great venue, too) R Edited May 12, 2010 by reids

I wish that you lived somewhere in Texas or that I lived somewhere in Georgia because I would Love to share the driving responsibilities with someone such as Yourself, on Our way to see one of Our Idols, Robert Plant. I think that with all of Your contributions to my Led Zeppelin or Related Topic, I would actually drive all the way since I would Love to just ask You questions and hear all Your answers and experiences of all things Led Zeppelin (or Related). For the record, I have NEVER Flirted with any Woman Online before, So Please do not take this as such, but, of course, there is always a First Time for everything. If You ever come to the Great State of Texas, please feel free to let me know and we can have Great Time talking and listening to (again) all things Led Zeppelin or Related. I think your words are very kind and respectful! And it would be fun if we could all get together at some point down the road...and I would love to share a 6 hour drive with someone who appreciates music, makes the ride more fun. It was so nice to meet TypeO at TCV concert and share that. Same thing back to you, if your ever in Georgia...as we would have a great time talking all things Led Zeppelin or related

Rock Historian
I LOVE Robert Plant as much as anyone on here, but I have no interest in seeing him this time around. Main reason being is that I haven't heard any of this new stuff he's doing with the Band of Joy. Is their any way to explore this new thing he's doing? Or is it a mystery to everyone what type of stuff this is...?

The musicians he's working with are phenomenal and the combination with them and Robert to me spells success. Also, I saw him in 2001 before Dreamland was released on a mini tour. Hadn't heard anything off the album at that point so had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be one of the best shows I've seen from him. I think its going to be great music, Plant always surrounds himself with great musicians. Anyone else going to the Tulsa Show?
