PlanetPage
10 June 2012 Page and Plant played Milan This was my second attempt to play Milan after having been tear-gassed on the first time with Led Zeppelin. During the morning of the show, there was a message from the festival site that it was waterlogged and they couldn't get the trucks with our equipment in. However, the ever-resourceful road crew managed to perform the near impossible and the festival was to continue. When I arrived I saw Terence Trent D'Arby performing - he was happening, albeit rain soaked. We performed our set and had an interesting communion with the inclement weather. That evening Porl Thompson guested with his former bandmates The Cure as we skidded and slid away from the festival site.

april_lynn
I bought this 45 just before I left the UK! Shipping included it was £7; bit steep really and I didn't get a company sleeve, but I'm a proud owner

Silverseas
Nope! He was fantastic as Nirvana's drummer, but since then he comes off as an annoying, ubiquitous self-promoter. And now that we know he snubbed Jimmy, one can also add "prat" to Mr. Grohl's description. [only my opinion, of course] I completely agree with you. Post Nirvana I could give two sh*ts about Grohl and his crappy band "The Pillow Biters." Surprised Page even entertained the idea of playing with them. I loved when he used it in Outrider tour and saying with that smile about 'annuals of rock history. ' before playing IMTOD.

PlanetPage
16th June '12 On this day… 16 Jun 1999 I performed at the Unicef Kosovo Appeal in London When the troubles in Kosovo finally subsided there was a hasty fundraiser put together at the banqueting halls in Whitehall. I'd been asked to play this event and I played it with my group at the time: Michael Lee on drums and Guy Pratt on bass. I played an instrumental version of 'Dazed and Confused' and I was told people got the idea of the movements being like a classical piece. It must have been quite spirited as apparently it registered on the highly sophisticated sensor equipment at the Ministry of Defence. This sound source is taken from a rehearsal with the band. Texas Melanie
Thank you for posting PlanetPage. truth and beauty
As I write the JP website says there've been 108 listeners.. I must account for at least 5 of those. Without losing any of the sharp timing which makes it so dramatic, this Dazed and Confused has something chilled about it ... I'm finding it addictive ! ( shame about its abrupt ending ... )
