SweetLittleBaby
aen27!! Awesome job at saving this as always! And we got another lady reference from Jimmy! He definitely has a soft spot for the ladies. I thought it was a sweet little mention. I love the Tous en Scene performance as well. Glad he chose that as today's OTD. The Starship
Did anybody notice on the 6/19/1969 Paris TV show performance video how john bonham was wearing a green tie dye shirt in one frame behind the drums and then a closer up view in an orange shirt in the next couple frames and back to the original view in the green tie die shirt? jb126
Did anybody notice on the 6/19/1969 Paris TV show performance video how john bonham was wearing a green tie dye shirt in one frame behind the drums and then a closer up view in an orange shirt in the next couple frames and back to the original view in the green tie die shirt? Perhaps it was a rehearsal when he had the orange shirt on? Near the end of the clip he is in orange again and hardly any of the seats are filled. Since this is already a little off topic - those white jeans look great on JPJ.

Thank you,aen for your efforts almost everyday. I also feel happy that Jimmy mentions his beautiful family on his own website. All of them must have been proud of Dr.Jimmy page. And You Know How It Is?
22 June 12 http:// Video of The Day http://www.jimmypage.com/ ................... add. video One of the great mysteries, never solved in Steve's Mystery's thread, is the set list for this Iceland concert. Robert touches on the possibilty of trying new songs in this interview, and the difference between the set lists from the last American date in Phoenix in April, to the Bath festival less than a week after this show is big. One wonders if Zep attempted any Zep 3 songs at this Iceland show? What is great about this entry by Jimmy is all of the newspaper coverage, which includes, it looks like, a concert review or two of this show. Don't know translation-wise if the reviews indicate if any Zep 3 songs were attempted, but it would be in those reviews if they did, one would think. Outside of Dazed and Confused, we don't know what they played in Iceland!

PlanetPage
24th Jun 12 On this day… 24 Jun 1969 Led Zeppelin recorded The John Peel Sessions at Maida Vale, London 'Whole Lotta Love' / 'What Is and What Should Never Be' / 'Communication Breakdown' / 'Travelling Riverside Blues' We recorded this show at Maida Vale studio to promote 'Led Zeppelin II'. In typical Led Zeppelin tradition 'Travelling Riverside Blues' was made up on the spot from a riff I had on the electric twelve string. We had reached a point at the BBC where you could overdub a solo over the initial track of the song. This helped a lot to give a more complete rendition of our material and I must say the BBC engineer Tony Wilson did a really good job for us on this day. The BBC producer was John Walters. http:// ...Audio of This Day http://www.jimmypage.com/ ................................... SweetLittleBaby
I absolutely love Travelling Riverside Blues. Never understood how it didn't make it onto any Zep album. Also, that particular version of WLL is probably my favorite.
Texas Melanie
I too love Traveling Riverside Blues but isn't it more accurate to say they REMADE the song on the spot? It might have been slightly different but it was originally a Robert Johnson song.
