Evster2012
^lol My happy thing for today: it's 3:35, and I haven't really done a freakin' thing all weekend! ...though my clothes are in the washer and the dishes are in the dishwasher, you know. So your Monday will be a MONDAY! If you can wait. Though I doubt you can let it go a night! I bet a fiver she'll be folding by 9pm!
Virginia
Nothing at all to complain about this weekend. Had a movie "date" with my 8 year old daughter last night; I earned about $200,000, mostly harvesting, on Farm Town and finally got my barn (wish it was *real* money!); spent some time curled up with a good mystery novel; rearranged the office (put the Playstation in there for the kids and made the room more teen/kid-friendly); made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner AND got a great bargain on my hair color ($3.99 with coupon!) ninelives
Just spoke with my mom. She's 84 years old and just got to see Topol's last and final performance as Tevia in Fiddler on the Roof. After 2500+ performances over 40 years, she caught the last one. She was thrilled! Her joy is my joy! Oy vey! Manechevitz for all I bet it was good though

Tejanablonde
...and the principal just called to ask me for more information to contact my references! He said that they're not at school yet, so he needed personal emails, etc. As a former educator, that sounds VERY promising. Hiring individuals don't bother themselves with references unless they intend to extend a job offer.
Khandie
I won 300.00 at the casino today, then went shopping for my vacation next week. Can't wait it's going to be fun.
Tejanablonde
We found my runaway black lab puppies. Now I'm building a gate to quarantine them to a limited area of my yard. All three of my dogs are sooo spoiled. They even have their own kiddie pool. It is over 100 F here frequently, so I can't imagine wearing a fur coat in this heat without a method to cool down. The elder dog looked at the babies as if to say "You're in trouble." But even he seemed happy to see the wanderers.

I'm glad they returned none the worse for their adventure.
manderlyh
So your Monday will be a MONDAY! If you can wait. Though I doubt you can let it go a night! laugh.gif I bet a fiver she'll be folding by 9pm! beer.gif It's 9:34pm and I haven't touched it! I haven't done much of anything again today! I took my business suit to the cleaners to be be cleaned and pressed, along with my other "school clothes." I'm having company over for dinner tomorrow night, so I really should do some housework. LOL As a former educator, that sounds VERY promising. Hiring individuals don't bother themselves with references unless they intend to extend a job offer. wink.gif Yes! My mentor teacher called me this afternoon to tell me he talked with her for about fifteen minutes today about me too! Yesss! I didn't have to cook dinner tonight. ...and tonight is the fourth night in a row that I've had a nice walk in the evening sun. One thing I love about Idaho in the summer: It's light outside until 10pm. However, it's 9:38 now, and it's pretty dark. Summer IS coming to an end. Mangani
Nah I was already up. He just made me jump. He comes out, bangs a stupid rythym on the fence, has a loud conversation with himself then goes back in again. He does that about 4 or 5 times a day. He's gone inside again now..............so I am officially happy.
manderlyh
Crazies. I hate it when people start making a TON of noise in the early morning. I hated it worse when I was working nights and it was..say....8am. I believe the f-word was a favorite word of mine on those occasions. Evster2012
Gardeners! 6:59 in the am and they're out there, buzzing away with their tools. They're done by 8! But I can't sleep after 8! Why not start at 9 and be done by 10? Oh, not Pet Peeves or Unhappy thread? My sincere apologies. UNTIL THE WEED WHACKER STARTS AGAIN!!!!! And the fucking leaf blowers! Remember rakes? I see them on your truck! You've got three of them! Are they just for advertisement? "Hi, we're gardeners". dot fucking com???? Yeah, just keep blowing my neighbors' pine needles into my yard. See what happens.
Reggie29
I have been rehearsing with a few blokes two who are Principals specialising in schools for Behavioural and Disadvantaged teenagers. Anyway I got a call a few hours ago and went to one of the schools and was offered a casual position as a Teachers Aide until I can resume my usual career. This'll help keep the wolves from the door! It will involve helping with research and resource allocation etc. The best part is that once I've been registered (in a couple of days), with the Education Dept., I can help with the music program that came out of talks at our first meeting. Rock 'n' Roll 101, baby!
