Hotplant
Nice. But unseasonably hot. May hit a record high today. I'm ready for fall. In a day or two we'll drop 40 degrees. Snow could even fall at 7,000 feet. Summer doesn't want to let go.

Mangani
Sunny and warm. Still t-shirt weather. It's supposed to be autumn. The leaves on the trees haven't even begun to turn brown yet, nevermind fall off.
C0mmunicati0nBreakd0wn
It got cooler and less humid here . Finally, I can stand at the bus stop without a sweat. Though today, it got warmer during the day. Florida has the weirdest weather

Footsteps of Dawn
Gettin' better, gettin' better! Definitely cooler this week. Of course now we're approaching fire season, and the humidity's already starting to go down. As long as it doesn't get windy, we'll be okay, but...I hate to be a pessimist, but with all the fires LA has had this year already, I don't think we're going to get away with it. ZeppFanForever
Hi "madison!" So you're from Sacramento? I live in Sacramento and L.A. for a combination 29 years. I also lived off Madison Ave. by Mercy San Juan Hospital. The whole Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, Orangevale, Foothill Farms, Folsom, North Highlands, Roseville and Antelope areas were all my stomping grounds. As to what's the weather like where I am? Throughout the whole San Antonio, Texas area, it rained HARD repeatedly all night long non-stop! Have a great day and ROCK ON FOREVER! manderlyh
41 degrees, rainy. Boise, Idaho rainy= drizzly, not pouring rain. I'm coping by watching good PBS documentaries and drinking hot coffee, sometimes flipping to NFL.

manderlyh
Still cold and dreary. (43 and cloudy) Today's high was 45. They said on the news today that our normal high is 70 on October 4th. Meh. It stopped raining hours ago, but it's been dropping a few drops here and there, so it's still wet. It wasn't wet enough to keep me from taking my walk though. Hotplant
Cold We went from hot to this. 35 degrees as I type. It rained, sleet, hailed and snowed.( And they are making our postal carriers walk, not drive house to house anymore...) None stuck in the valley, but the mountains have powdered sugar on them. Brrrrrr.
timothy5151
We have had nothing but rain, drizzle and fog for the last 5 days. The month of October is not starting off good.
manderlyh
Hotplant, we have snow on the mountains too. It's 38 right now and clear. High is supposed to be 60 today, so it's warming up.
Footsteps of Dawn
Okay, now it's even cold here. I guess I should say "coolish" because it's definitely nowhere near 40 degrees, but when it goes from being in the 90s at the end of last week to the 60s at the beginning of this week, that's a pretty big change for us. Hotplant
Hotplant, we have snow on the mountains too. It's 38 right now and clear. High is supposed to be 60 today, so it's warming up. Hey Manders, yep, our region gets similar weather. I guess it's time to pack up the tank-tops and haul out some sweaters. It is warming up today too, so a week or so of high 50's to low 60's. It's sunny and bright today.
