Virginia
Here three! This is only our second measurable snow (the first came earlier this week) so the novelty hasn't worn off yet. School was closed all week here.
Pagefan55
It was -29 inPort Huron this morning. That's 30 miles North of me. That was 4 degrees warmer than the North pole ! Actually, my only complaint is my 'engine' light decided to come on, which means I can't auto-start in the morning...brrrr ! Wow. The coldest weather I've ever experienced was -21F, in New Hampshire, and that was awful. I can't imagine colder weather.
Walter
CP, you'll be glad to know things are back to normal here in Florida. Today it's 70F, I had to mow the grass, and tomorrow it'll be 80 for the Daytona 500!
chillumpuffer
Grim. Grey and cold with heavy wintry showers. Spring, it seems, is a long way off
Charles J. White
It's silly really, I have never seen this kind of winter in the Halifax area, -20 degrees Celsius raw temp without windchill...

We will see that in a couple of days. Fuck off jet stream !!
JTM
Looking out of the window I see what looks like a nice sunny day, so I went to the end of my driveway to get the wheelie bin in, bloody 'ell it's freezing, real ball sack tightening weather. Charles J. White
We will see that in a couple of days. Fuck off jet stream !! The Colony and England, one and the same!!!

That's not bad at all, the key to it is find yourself on skis in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Make sure to have a Northface bib, tube scarf, balaclava, jacket with windproof zipper cover, and gore tex gloves and you could spend an entire day up on the mountains and not notice it at all. Pagefan55
^^ Excellent advice, Charles. We've just gotten another 7 inches of snow here in Richmond -- the worst winter here in more than 20 years.
chillumpuffer
Dry and bright unlike what's going on in South Florida. They have suspended play at The Honda Golf Classic because it's raining! Wimps. I play through much worse in the summer in my monthly medals. Must be major shock for the PGA players who only really play in sunny weather on courses that have been manicured with scissors Edited February 27, 2015 by chillumpuffer

LedZeppfan77
Almost 11 at night est and I hear the plowman plowing the driveway for the 50th time or so. Worst Feb since 1934 and third worst in recorded history
Charles J. White
Weird, -4 degrees Celsius right now with lots of snow falling, rising to +4 with lots rain this afternoon.
JTM
Bitterly cold but calm and dry so I think I'll get the mower out and give the front and back lawns the first cut of the year.

I suppose us Peak folks are a hardy bunch but it's quite mild and sunny here man. Not gonna do the back garden as it's still too wet. Booked to play golf on a beautiful track near Derby tomorrow with Mrs CP, as it is suppose to be sunny and fairly warm for March

Plantpothead
It's quite mild today, but it is overcast. Anyone know how to use a washing machine!!!!! Apparently it's a good drying day as it's windy. (According to my wife)
