ebk
Evita - the 1976 studio concept recording with Julie Covington as Eva. I'd forgotten how good it is. Probably the last thing Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote worth listening to.

Swede
I've purchased a couple of great and rare singles: The Others - I Can't Stand This Love Goodbye / Until I Heard It From You (1965) This is a classic 60's moody punk rocker with members that later was to form Chelsea with Peter Criss on drums (Kiss). Check out the song and discography right here Bobby (Boris) And The Crypt Kickers - Monster Mash / Monster's Mash Party (1962) Leon Russell was in The Crypt Kickers. Fontella Bass - Rescue Me / Soul Of A Man (1965) Classic soul hit! Max Frost And The Troopers - The Shape Of Things To Come / Free Lovin' (1968) Cool punk rocker which was on the soundtrack to Wild In The Streets. *eviljane*
I've been trying to watch A Clockwork Orange for months, heard it's great! It was my boyfriend in highschool that turned me on to it. At first watch I was a bit hesitant about liking it, but it grew on me. He was also responsible for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Gegenschein
Death Note III... seriously. With subtitles, of course. Unfortunately a disappointment - not nearly as good as the 1st two.
Footsteps of Dawn
Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue - André Previn and the London Symphony Orchestra It's got Rhapsody in Blue (obviously), the American in Paris Ballet, and the three Piano Concertos in F. jimmie ray
"Concert for George" DVD - tribute to George Harrison, shortly after his death. Normally, I don't get much out of all star jams, but Clapton and Jeff Lynn do a very nice job here. Billy Preston is a joy to see. Ringo and Paul join in at the end, and "Photograph" is well done and very meaningful. The first half of this is all Sitar, which I find entrancing - but might not be for everyone.
