Popeyes wing and a breast & my own side of lima beans....

That's close to a perfect dinner :)

If anyone is looking for a great happy hour deal, Seasons 52 has a wine flight, a flatbread, and a glass of your favorite of the 3 wines in the flight for $15 until 6:30. Or, Flemings has a fabulous happy hour - a choice of 5 appetizers, 5 wines, 5 cocktails, and the house burger, for $6 each... 5 for 6 till 7.

We went to Seasons 52 tonight.

When in New Orleans, right, jabe?

Oh, so right!

Salivating at the sight.... tempted to make the five hour road trip.

Gotta edit... the missus and I drove from the casinos of Biloxi to New Orleans a few years ago just to eat a muff for lunch.

Muff must mean something different in the South.

Just finishing up a brutal double shift at work. Have a huge rack of St. Louis ribs waiting to go in oven when I get home - they can slow cook, while I catch up on sleep. Some muff when I wake up would be a nice appetizer...

Noun and adjective.

Means the same here as elsewhere. I just took a (little) liberty with a sandwich's name to see if someone would take a "dive" at my post.

All banal attempts at humor by me aside, I would certainly jot down any recommendation Dd has when it come to New Orleans.

She is spot on about Cafe Maspero, and there's no doubt in my mind she is accurate about any destination she suggests within that eclectic city.

Easily one of the five cities in the United States one needs to experience.

I wasn't questioning Dd's recommendations at all...I know whereof she speaks. I just found your phrasing amusing. I can just imagine the look on my gf's face if I told her I was going out to eat a muff.
