Strider
Crikey! I just remembered I have to help a friend with a book event tonight...I thought it was next Friday. It's a book about the Golden Age of Porn in the 70s/80s and all these old porn stars are gonna be there. Oh boy...cannot wait to see what kind of freaks show up tonight. But there goes my Friday night...at least the early part. The midnight and beyond plans are still in effect.

Texas Melanie
Isn't methadone an Opiate?? It may work but you will still get withdrawl symptoms My brother in law was prescribed and took methadone while he was battling cancer. He passed away so I don't know of any withdrawals but he often experienced the opiate "nodding off" throughout the day. He couldn't go an hour without falling asleep. He was on a pretty heavy dose. He missed out on so much. I am sorry to hear of the pain that you guys are experiencing.

joe (Liverpool)
ally, I will think of you when I am having my Christmas Lunch, when we will both be toasting to absent friends (My Mother was my best friend) I told her everything and she always listened and guided me. Unfortunately I did not always listen, and I suppose I disappointed her on occasions. Still we always knew (as do all of my family) how much we care about each other. ally
Me too. I miss my folks also Yeah, I miss mine too but it's one of those things in life that we have to face. I'm just grateful to have had them present for as long as I did. I know a number of people who were cut well short
Strider
Better for you to miss your folks than for your folks to miss you. No parent should have to endure the pain of burying a child.
chillumpuffer
Well it's goodbye old friend. Yes since the 1st June I have been lovingly, tendering Priscilla. Now her life has passed and the house will seem a bit empty. This will lead to (hopefully) a post in what made you happy thread in a week or so. So here she is before the fateful chop. Old Shep
Is that it? That would'nt last me 5 minutes, lol. Or have you been pruneing her, for research purposes. You should grow more of them next time, i had 10 on the go one time when i was young and wreckless.
chillumpuffer
10 of these would seriously put a strain on my relationship as the house would stink. Mrs CP would freak I didn't prune her at all. De leaved at least 3 times. The picture dosen't do it justice and don't forget she has been grown naturally. No lights and if you live in the UK then you'll know what a crap summer we have had. The strain used is not a tall grower anyway and it flowered on her own. The smell is wonderful though. Remember it's quality not quantity? To be really honest I don't smoke grass as a rule but when dried it will last me many weeks and chums have been pestering me for a crafty bifta for a while now. More reports to follow...... paul carruthers
The dvd I was waiting on in the mail turned out to be defective. Now I got to wait for an email from the seller I bought it from to find out his return policy, plus I have to spend more money on a replacement. It's put a bit of a damper on my day.
