What Made You Happy today?

Mazda is covering my car bill for a new engine!

The shop I originally brought it to said that I was at fault for not keeping up with the oil changes. My husband never questioned it so I assumed they were right. My son had confidence in me and was sure there was a mistake.

After being urged by a good girlfriend to call a Mazda dealer it turns out that I WASN'T delinquent and there was an extended warranty on the timing chain (whatever THAT is).

I am feeling very happy (and vindicated) today! Woot! Woot!

Now THAT is good news. Good for you...and you deserve to make your doubters eat crow.

Probably...but I'm not in her class...or yours.

Don't be so hard n yourself.

You have no idea how many times I wanted to shout 'I told you so', but I have trained myself to resist such temptations.

It's all good...and so are you.

My beautiful daughter just called me and she finished the first tri-semester of her degree with high distinction. She is studying Events Management and we have a future promoter in our midst. So proud of Alina! Go girl!

Way go to!! :)

I put on a pair of boots this morning that I haven't worn since last winter, and I felt something in the toe. I took them off expecting to find a stone, and a pound coin dropped on the floor. :)

A pound more than you had yesterday. Yes buy a lottery ticket and remember who your mates are ! I once bought a jacket in a charity shop and found a tenner in the pocket.

CP enjoy the match.!! Sounds like rip snorting good time, mate.

I bet you won't have to put up with corporate blowhards who don't give a water rats ass about the contest either. When I spring for top seats stateside, there are always a bunch of dipshits there that could care less about the game. They haven't a clue about the least of the action going on down on the pitch.

Bottoms up ol' chap.

I received a phone call from Asda last night, asking me if I would be interested in a permanent job. I'm fucking thrilled to bits, it's stacking shelves but it pays a reasonable wage. The lady said she would let me know .

Glad to hear this, Joe! Good luck with it!!
