Ain't that truth Strider. But it still doesn't stop them from making a big production out of "the weather" on the local news. Dallas Raines always cracks me up with his OVER THE TOP weather reports and all of his prancing about while he shoes the weather map--- usually showing nothing. I always laugh when they send a reporter out to cover rain drop and a few puddles of water like it is some level 5 hurricane.

I've always hated him. What made him worse was that he took over as Eyewitness News 7's weatherman after my favourite, Dr. George Fischbeck, left. Compared to Dr. George, Dallas was an empty suit and haircut. It's long been rumoured that Dr. George was one of the sugardaddies that bankrolled Angelyne.

That’s a beautiful pic. Hot and dry here today - heat index of 101. Heading to the beach for some R&R, Thursday through the weekend. chillumpuffer
Hot and sunny again. This is beyond marvellous. A salad in the garden this evening with drinks and smokes. @Walter No we don't have a well. An outside tap and a long hose does the trick.

Brigante
Vile - 30C, FFS. Clothes literally soaked through with sweat, eyes blathered up with sweat running down me face, gagging for breath cos of the heat an a bastd headache from screwing my eyes up against the glare. WTF is good about any of that? You can shove summer - roll on October...

chillumpuffer
Cold. Our seasons have changed dramatically in the last few years. We had the wettest Winter, the driest Spring and after the 3 days of heat the other week, it has been like Autumn. Non stop wind, cloud and rain. I even lit the fire the other evening and it's non too warm outside.
