boogie
in recent years there have been a lot of strong female toughs, in movies. but i don't think any could touch sigorny weaver's "ripley", in "aliens". she's smart, strong, and will kick alien ass. then we got "sara conner", from terminater. she's close, but no cigar. who else should make this list? and who is toughest? Gainsbarre
Mae West: She may have been a sexpot, but she owned sex! No man was going to seduce her, she was gonna drag you to bed! She was never at anybody's mercy in her films, she was as tough as they came, she wrote all her films, said what she wanted to and didn't care what anybody's reaction was and all those great quotes from her: "Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" "It's better to be looked over, than overlooked" "Give a man a free hand... and he'll run it all over you" "When a girl goes wrong, men go right... after her" "A man in the house... is worth two in the street" "A hard man is good to find" "I'm no model lady. A model's just an imitation of the real thing." "Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls go everywhere else." "I used to be Snow White, but I drifted." spats
I have to go with Uma in KIll Bill too. She could kick ass but also keep her feminity. Sigourney and Linda Hamilton could not do that.

Their characters weren't supposed to be feminine. Ulma's was.

I think you mean her Electra movie. But if you're talking about her TV show then it's Alias. Uma is good but I think I'll go with Jolie's movies

Strider
Sigourney Weaver's 'Ripley' is one for the ages, alright. Some other badass babes are... Barbara Stanwyck in "Baby Face"...and in "40 Guns"...heck, in just about everything. Diana Rigg as 'Emma Peel' in "The Avengers". Anne Parilluad in "La Femme Nikita". Tura Satana in "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" Pam Grier in anything. Speaking of tough broads, I'm going to see Abel Ferrara's "Ms. .45" tonight.
