Mats Rutberg
The easiest album to choose favourites from, for me it must be two songs since they kind of belongs to each other. Everyone knows what i talking about. The Song Remains The Same och Rain Song. The later one has always through the years holds a top 5 zep songs of all time, only Tea for One that can match that. Michael678
my favorite was No Quarter, but The Rain Song is JUST behind it's booty lol
JTM
I think the whole album is fantastic.....It's also the first one I bought the week it was released...and the first one to have the orange and green label as opposed to the first four that had the plum and purple label. antoine
Over the hills & far away, just before the Rain song but I chose Oth&fa because the guitar intro is so cute Third No quarter (I prefer it in live)
Stairway is NOT stolen
The Rain Song. My 3rd Favorite Led Zeppelin song (Though I prefer it live)
The Rover 75
Hard to pick one, but I went with No Quarter. You hear JPJ really expand the sound, in a different direction.

craigled
Joint faves for me on this one. But you can only vote one. Mine are, The song remains the same and No quarter. They are the most heard on there.

John M
Over the Hills for me. It has everything. Folk acoustic, hard rock, great melody and vocals, lyrics, perfection. For TSRTS and NQ, I prefer the live versions so much more. I don't really like the processed vocals in the studio version of either track. I see how it adds to the effect in NQ, but it does nothing but detract from TSRTS in my view.
EaglesOfOneNest
Rain Song for me but No Quarter is a verrrrrrry close second.

Zepfan2001
That's a very difficult choice to make because the whole album is so great. I picked The Song Remains The Same because it's the most upbeat tempo song on the album but other songs could as easily be voted best. I couldn't remember if I posted in this thread or not, and it turns out I did. However, in the past 13 years, my opinion has changed. While I loved The Ocean (and still do), No Quarter has overtaken it, and by a large margin. Runner-up would be The Ocean, followed by The Rain Song. 1975NQ
My fav is SRTS. I love the ethereal sound of it. NQ is a close second.
LedZep123
No Quarter would be my personal favourite. However The Song Remains The Same / Rain Song medley is probably the best album opener they ever did.
paul carruthers
The best 1-2-3 punch for any album I can think of comes from HOTH--TSRTS, Rain Song, OTHAFA, how can you beat that...
ADK-Zeppy
My vote went for “The Ocean”, but OTHFA and “The Rain Song” were all in the “running” for my vote.
