Katuschka
John Lee Hooker instead of that terrible alarm-clock... That was a good idea.
Roxie
I was able to drive to work with my window down because of the somewhat mild weather, and it felt good!

manderlyh
Recently used some airline mileage points to get a free Sports Illustrated subscription. Today I received the swimsuit issue. Looks like I'll be busy. Seriously? No one wants to hear that shit. Totally too much information. TTMI?
Footsteps of Dawn
I was able to drive to work with my window down because of the somewhat mild weather, and it felt good! Rock on! I live for driving with the windows open! (whilst blaring some Zep, of course) Has anybody here ever tried mezcal? Not mescaline, lol, but mezcal - it's a kind of alcohol that's pretty similar to tequila. Whereas tequila is specifically made from the blue agave, mezcal comes from any other kind of agave. Good stuff!! It's kind of like scotch, except it actually tastes good (haha, sorry, I'm not a scotch fan). Kinda smoky, kinda brandy-ish... definitely try some if you get the chance. That made me REALLY happy today, lol!

Virginia
Took my son back to the doctor and he definitely does not have strep or flu, although he still feels lousy. Just a run of the mill virus, apparently. But I'm glad it wasn't anything serious.
manderlyh
I vacuumed my house with a vengeance. I usually ignore the "dirty" light on my vacuum--and I usually "forget" to do the basement, but today, I vacuumed EVERY ROOM in the house, and I waited until the "dlrty" light was off before I moved around. I had about four canisters full of gunk--perhaps vacuuming like that will help with my allergies?

BUCK'EYE' DOC
wow did you get a complete set of vinyl?? and what's in the box?? The box is the boxed set of CD's of the Complete Sudio Works of Led Zeppelin! I got it over a year ago. My Led Zeppelin II has a major scratch on it so I had to buy another one (just LZ II). My Led Zeppelin II has a major scratch on it so I had to buy another one (just LZ II). Right, the boxed set was my present. When I tore open the gift wrap my husband was on the phone with his Mom. She heard my shrill scream nearby... must have thought I'm a total freak - he didn't bother explaining why I screamed. I just couldn't help it... Sorry to hear about the scratch - good thing you could get another copy!

eternal light
A brisk walk during the only sunbreak that the weather has allowed so far today, and otherwise staying warm and dry inside. Listening to the rain on the roof, and sipping hot coffee.
danelectro
My dogs greeting me as I get up is always nice and the sun on my face just reminded me that despite things being pretty scary right now I'm lucky to be able to enjoy a nice day. manderlyh
I got a graduation card in the mail today from my boyfriend's mother--with a generous amount of money in it. It was very nice of her to send one--it was a total surprise and totally unexpected. I've already called her to thank her.
lzfan715
I'm throwing my mom a surprise party for her birthday. I made her a cake, and I bought her a card and got a gift. I usually buy her a gift, but this year it cost me twice as much as usual, but it's okay because she spends lots of her money on me through out the year. Tejanablonde
Spent a three day holiday as I wished. Went from the hills to the beach, then close to Mexico and back. Lots of diversity and fun.
Bustle In My Hedgerow
I finally picked a topic for my sociological research proposal. That's a load off my mind. Bad news is that I now have to do actual research.... which means I'll be a hermit for the next three months.
