It is the summer of my smiles - flee from me Keepers of the Gloom.

These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall

This is the wonder of devotion - I seek the torch we all must hold.

This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall...

I never thought it would ever go. I cursed the gloom that set upon us...

But I know that I love you so....

Remembering you always.

RIP Bonzo...

"On percussion, John Henry Bonham, Moby Dick"

....remembering him today something like this........

I remember the reason for my heart beat today...

it was his memory, now I remember

I too would have revealed condition of my loving heart

but when he bid farewell, then I remembered

...in the shade of flowers, we sat, cried a lot ...

when we remembered him...

I remember the reason for my heart beat today...

it was his memory, now I remember

John (Bonzo) Bonham, the greatest rock drummer who ever lived.

May 31, 1948 – September 25, 1980

The darkest day in rock….

Dear John,

Beyond the amazing music that you created, I have never forgotten how you made us laugh, the smiles you gave us, or the kindness you showed us. Thank you for everything Bonzo. I will remember you for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace and may God bless you and your beautiful family.

With deepest love and appreciation,

One of the “Jimmy’s-side-of-the-stage girls” from “The Ocean”

Reggie's in Australia. It IS tomorrow.

Just like to add my feelings to those of others, especially having just remembered that awful day in another thread. Now I'd just like to thank him for all the good times, and for the only drum solos I can ever bear to listen to repeatedly! Thanks, Bonzo.

Thank you, Miss HD. The oddest thing is that, as I was typing my post and remembering Bonzo, clouds and rain passed through here - unusual because it has been 90 degrees F with a blazing sun for weeks on end.

John's family has been in my thoughts and prayers too today. :'(
