Medhb
It is the summer of my smiles - flee from me Keepers of the Gloom. These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall This is the wonder of devotion - I seek the torch we all must hold. This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall... I never thought it would ever go. I cursed the gloom that set upon us... But I know that I love you so.... Remembering you always. RIP Bonzo...

MadScreamingGallery
John (Bonzo) Bonham, the greatest rock drummer who ever lived. May 31, 1948 – September 25, 1980 The darkest day in rock…. Dear John, Beyond the amazing music that you created, I have never forgotten how you made us laugh, the smiles you gave us, or the kindness you showed us. Thank you for everything Bonzo. I will remember you for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace and may God bless you and your beautiful family. Aquamarine
Wouldn't it be 28 years ago tomorrow? Reggie's in Australia. It IS tomorrow. Just like to add my feelings to those of others, especially having just remembered that awful day in another thread. Now I'd just like to thank him for all the good times, and for the only drum solos I can ever bear to listen to repeatedly! Thanks, Bonzo.

And such a wonderful photo of John... :'( Can I also say that Pat, Jason and Zoe are in my thoughts. Thank you, Miss HD. The oddest thing is that, as I was typing my post and remembering Bonzo, clouds and rain passed through here - unusual because it has been 90 degrees F with a blazing sun for weeks on end. John's family has been in my thoughts and prayers too today. :'(
