ZeppFanForever Posted September 8, 2008 Author Posted September 8, 2008 How's it going fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics. Check this website out: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fe...630897.ece According to this website, the end of the world is next week. Can you believe that? ROCK ON! How's it going fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? It is a really early Monday morning here in San Antonio, Texas. I hope that your weekend was a merry and jolly one. Thanks for all of your wonderful answers to this ridiculous but serious topic. If the world does end, I'll be playing the slot machines and gambling in SIN CITY! That's right, you guessed it, I'll be in Las Vegas, Nevada gambling and meeting women while all of you are at work. I'll be back home on Friday, 12 September 2008 (Hopefully a millionaire) and I look forward to conversing with all of you ZEPPELIN fanatics again. So take of yourselves and ROCK ON! Quote
Reggie29 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Professor Brian Cox, Particle Physicist played with Jimmy Page! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Cox_%28physicist%29 He was interviewed tonight by Andrew Denton on his show Enough Rope and talked about the CERN experiment and his previous career as a musician. http://www.abc.net.au/tv/enoughrope/ Andrew Denton interviewed P & P in 1995. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Denton The Money or the Gun in Antarctica with STH. http://www.abc.net.au/abccontentsales/s1167913.htm Talk about six degrees of separation! Cactus Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 If the world really was going to end, we wouldn't even know about it, so don't worry. It's not like it would be painful..... Quote
pickenpieces Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 If the world does end next week, at least it will be with great September weather. Last year it was 90-95 here everyday, even into early October. Ahhh, what blessed relief! Quote
DoubleNecker Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Scientists are pretty stupid, y'know? Quote
marolyn Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 If the world really was going to end, we wouldn't even know about it, so don't worry. It's not like it would be painful..... unless you get sucked into the black hole molecule by molecule.... :'( Quote
DoubleNecker Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I think I just had an omen. I went outside to "watch the last sunset I'll ever see" and I wanted to listen to Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues and I went onto Dawn, and my iPod froze. I think that's saying something. Quote
TheZeppyWanderer Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Stephen Hawking's 'mechanical' voice just cracks me up every time I hear it ! (Especially with the brilliant comments he comes out with) " I thought about having an End-Of-The-World-Party" Sounds a lot funnier when you hear HIM say it. Quote
Nathan Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Oh... So I guess December 21, 2012 is out, then? And I had this huge party planned and everything! Led Zeppelin was gonna be the featured band of the evening! Figured if we timed it right, the world would end as soon as Robert finished singing (all by himself, of course) "and she's buy-uy-ing a stai-ai-rway... to... hea-ea-ven" (Oh wow... I just got shivers thinking of that... Robert finishes that line and the whole world goes "boom"... *shivers again*) All well... time to make a live compilation with Stairway at the end and hope my timing is perfect. Who wants to make a trip to Marietta, Georgia and listen with me? Bring some food, beer, and/or joints, please. It'll be pot luck since I don't have the time to plan. Quote
Hotplant Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Cool. I don't have to buy Xmas presents. They showed the Swiss scientist on the news tonight with the atom smasher, and showed a visual of what a "god" looked like. And we Still can't cure a cold! Quote
Lake of Shadows Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Oops, better go stock up on bread and milk. Quote
Reggie29 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Less than four hours to go! See y'all at 5.01 pm AEST alive and well. Quote
Electrophile Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Well, if the world is going to end in about 4 hours......I should probably go grab some random dude to fuck, because well.......why not. Quote
marolyn Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 damn...i won't get to see who wins the election Quote

I have got a horsey Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 earthquake in Iran - 6.1 allegedly. the tremors, (and the conspiracy theories) are getting well and truly under way !! " It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine " No the Sun newspaper got it wrong. They're only firing the Hadrons in one direction when the machine kicks off. It's not til October that they'll starting firing them in opposite directions. That's when the collisions and the little black holes will start happening. Quote
pinky Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Still here, and as 2bit says 4 years. Quote
