Electrophile Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Tea For One, and for me it's not even close. Quote
MINI_Zoso Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Achilles here, but for me it is close...Tea For One fits many a mood for me. Quote
f2walsh Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 So many good ones...but Achilles has to be my fav! Quote
BlackDog71 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 It may be the popular choice, but I have to go with "Achilles Last Stand" as mine. It blew my mind the first time I ever heard it. I still find new things to love about the song each and every time I listen to it. A Zeppelin classic (in my opinion). Quote
slave to zep Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 i voted " for your life", but i also love " tea for one " and " achilles last stand " Quote
BlackDog71 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Tea For One, and for me it's not even close. I have to say, I have come to love and appreciate this song a lot more as of late. It's so good. I never used to give it a real listen, but now that I have, I love it. I can see why this would be your favorite. A great song on an underrated album (IMO). Quote
bouillon Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Duh - just noticed I hit the wrong button. Meant to vote for Royal Orleans. How I wish they'd followed this up with a quick funk-rock album. They could've slipped that out in time for the 77 US tour, and enlivened the terminally dull setlist with some funky improvs. Who knows where that might've led. We could even have been spared ITTOD.... Quote
Friends Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 This Is my 3rd Favorite album of all time ITS EPIC Anyway achilles fr me Quote
SummrMoon Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Achilles, then FYL and NFBM. I really didn't listen to TFO that often; but i've heard so many good things about it lately, I'll have to revisit it. Quote
Strider Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Tea For One. Followed by Royal Orleans(wished they would have added RO to the setlist in 77), and Achilles Last Stand. Quote
OldManWith4Sticks Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Hots on was the first I ever heard on radio at the time. Then Nobody's But I just can't choose a single track. Impossible for me. Quote
TheStairwayRemainsTheSame Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 It's a toss up between Nobody's and Hots. Quote
Texas Melanie Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 ALS followed by Nobody's Fault and Tea for One. Quote
Sagittarius Rising Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I love Hots but the whole album is incredible, my favorite next to PG. I agree Royal should have been part of the setlist, it's a great song and parts of it remind me of Fool in the Rain. This whole album is severely underrated and absolutely brilliant! Quote
dazedcat Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Tea For One. It's always been a personal favorite of mine. Quote
SIZepFan Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Achilles is pure musical genius. By far the best song on a great all around album. Quote
sailor86 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Tea for one. The time-honored blues thing with Jimmy overlaying his own personal twist. Quote
WChrisMullen Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Achilles, especially the drums. I have a friend who would improv the drum beat from Achilles with a fork and spoon at the table all the time. It made lunch breaks very enjoyable. Quote
ally Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Have to go with NBFBM and , by a country mile or twa ! Just love that stand up and be accounted for attitude that for a lot of us of a certain vintage, kinda summed up the end of our youth Quote
