rainydaywoman
Do you think Stoker tips his hat to Le Fanu in Dracula's Guest....? I haven't read any Stoker short stories but maybe I'll see if my local library has it. During my hibernation last winter I read some short stories by LeFanu, M. R. James, and Algernon Blackwood. Right now I'm starting The Moviegoer by Walker Percy.

Mrs. Plant
I just read a short story by Gene Wilder called "My French Whore" Was enjoyable and a fast easy read. He describes emotions well, what the character is feeling in a certain moment of revelation...I found myself saying "Exactly!!" in my head a few times. It's not even into great detail, its just makes sense and is to the point. Next onto another Gene Wilder book called "The Woman Who Wouldn't" After this next one, onto another author cause that is all that Gene Wilder has at the moment, besides a memoir. Gainsbarre
Chariots Of The Gods By Eric Von Dankien, A little dated but still a very interesting read. it's a good piece of fiction, that book Daniken actually confessed to faking a couple of pieces of evidence used in the book. I believe he wrote it while in prison in Switzerland for tax evasion.
DoubleNecker
Finally done with Clapton's book. This is the first time I've read a book from start to finish in years. I loved it. I learned a lot and I visualized a lot of what was going on in my head. It was pretty cool.
